First up today we have the Yash Raj production Pyaar Impossible! Go pass your judgments on it! Jugal Hansraj started his career as a child actor in Masoom, and while his bachpan ki costar Urmila Matondkar went on to join the A-league, Jugal wasn’t as lucky. His biggest claim to fame as an actor is the Yash Raj film Mohabbatein, which really only sold on the star power of Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. 2008 saw him change career paths and take up direction with YRF’s Roadside Romeo, and while the movie didn’t do as well as he hoped it would, the studio continues to have faith in him. Now Jugal’s taken on the responsibility of relaunching the Chopra scion Uday’s career with Pyaar Impossible, and it’s scary to imagine what’ll happen to both men if one doesn’t work! So let’s you and I stay positive, and hope for the best from this one!
Everyone’s talking about how perfect Shahid Kapoor’s hard earned abs look in the previews of Chance Pe Dance, which is why it’s shocking that he’s giving them up for his father’s film Mausam. Shahid starts filming the movie in the near future, and his 22 year old character requires him to go back to the lean boyish look he sported in movies like Ishq Vishq and Jab We Met. The star has currently taken time off to tone down his muscled physique, after which he will devote all of 2010 to Mausam. It’ll be interesting to see if the ladies still love him minus the beefy look! Time will tell! For the moment, here’s Chance Pe Dance!

It’s no secret that Aamir Khan gets very involved in the making of his films, and likes to make sure that the overall production values of anything he’s associated with are top class. Well, the perfectionist was at it again with 3 Idiots, and this time he even stuck around for the whole subtitling process! That little technicality was the last bit of post-production that needed to be wrapped before 3 Idiots’ final prints were delivered to Rajkumar Hirani’s house, and Aamir stayed put till each word has been typed in and saved! From what I hear, the subtitling went on till 2:30 a.m, and it was only after Aamir had seen with his own eyes that there were no typos or glitches in the words that he went home to sleep! I wouldn’t be surprised if the movie reads better than the Chetan Bhagat book it’s based on! Here’s 3 Idiots!
The cast and crew of Dulha Mil Gaya got to witness both a reel and a real love story during the making of the film. While the previews of the film explain the on screen romance, the off-scene lovey-dovey business took place between the movie’s director Muddasar Aziz and his leading lady Sushmita Sen. As a lot of you probably know by now, the two hooked up during the making of the Vivek Vaswani film, and the unit got to witness many pyaar-bhare gestures between the two. For instance, at one point Muddasar lifted Sush onto his shoulders and walked her through a shallow patch of ocean just so that her legs and costume didn’t get wet! What’s most interesting is that he did it 12 times, which is the amount of shots it took to get the scene right! You guys decide if that’s cute or gag-inducing! I’m just going to play the movie!

Eros International and Vijay Galani’s Veer is the first movie ever to be shot in Buckingham Palace. Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British Monarch and is a setting of only state occasions and royal hospitality however a rare exception was made in this case and Anil Sharma’s Veer starring Salman Khan was given permission to shoot within the premises. Reveals a source “Buckingham Palace is a literal sacred ground for British royalty and they never allow any commercial activity to take place within its boundaries but they did make an exception for Veer. The setting of the palace gave the film a larger than life feel to the film; any other location would just not have done justice to the script.” “3 months prior permission was taken to shoot within the royal palace.
